SEVEN COMMITTED DENR 1 EMPLOYEES HONORED THRU SALAMAT, MABUHAY PROGRAM

In a meaningful Salamat, Mabuhay Program last January 31, 2023, the Department of Environment and Natural Resources Region 1 gave tribute to seven (7) retirees at Ynad’s Place Hotel and Resort, Inc., San Juan, La Union.

Being honored are former Northern Ilocos Norte CENR Officer- For. Noemi Ruadap, Conservation and Development Division Chief- For. Barbara Pernia, Project Evaluation Officer III- Ms. Deborah Menguita, Administrative Officer V Ma. Clemence Nacar, Forester II Alberson Sagun, Land Management Officer II Pablo Ody Bentrez, and Cartogrpher I Bona Perez. They were recognized for their service in the agency during which they have shown exemplary dedication and efficient conduct of their duties. The said event was an adoption of the Civil Service Commission Memorandum series of Circular No. 7 to recognize retiring employees in government service.

During the said program, their loved ones and officemates extended their well wishes, word of congratulatory, and recollection of their memories together thru a video message.  Regional Executive Director- Atty. Crizaldy M. Barcelo, CESO III, who led the program, delivered a message wherein he talked about the honorees’ passion, sacrifice and service. He mentioned that retirement is a new phase of life, it’s like setting one whole new journey with nothing to worry about. No bosses, no targets, no reports to submit, and no messages to prepare. This is the time for them to do what they think they could have done especially with their families. RED Barcelo also gave thanks for their invaluable length of service in the agency contributing to the success of the department.

The honorees were then awarded Plaques of Recognition and tokens and in turn expressed their gratitude to everybody especially to the department.
