Arbor 1SAN NICOLAS, Pangasinan – In line with the observance of Arbor Day held every 25th of June and as part of the Environment Month Celebration, the Department of Environment and Natural Resources- Region I (DENR-I) personnel conducted tree planting activity on June 23, 2023 at Brgy. Malico, San Nicolas Pangasinan.
Sixty-seven (67) participants from DENR Regional Office, PENRO Pangasinan, CENRO Eastern Pangasinan and members of the Masonic Lodge No. 217 planted a total of 600 seedlings of narra (400), caimito (30), tamarind (70), and guyabano (100) were planted in two (2) hectares of Masonic Lodge No. 217 adopted site.
The activity was graced by DENR I Regional Executive Director Atty. Crizaldy M. Barcelo, PENR Officer of Pangasinan For. Raymond A. Rivera, CENR Officer of Eastern Pangasinan For. Rico Biado and Worshipful Masters of Masonic Lodge No. 217 Mr. Edilberto A. Tamondong, Sr. and Mr. Rogelio Co, Jr.
