San Fernando City, La Union โ€“ Highlighting the pivotal role that supervisors play within any organization, Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) Region 1 Executive Director, Atty. Crizaldy M. Barcelo inspired his 35 prospective supervisors personnel from the Regional Office, PENROs and CENROs, by emphasizing the indispensable need for support to ensure organizational success driven by professionalism and excellence in his message during the opening of the 4-day Supervisory Development Course Track 1 (SDC Track 1) training held in
J & V Resort and Hotel on April 2-5, 2024.
RED Barcelo stressed that the responsibilities of a supervisor demand utmost dedication and competence, serving as the backbone for achieving collective goals. He challenged the participants to harness their full potential, reminding them of their capability to become future leaders in their respective domains. He coined the term โ€œCENROABLE, PENROABLEโ€, encouraging participants to aspire towards excellence and envision themselves as catalysts for positive change within DENR.
The training was facilitated by the Civil Service Commission Regional Office 1 (CSC RO1) headed by the Regional Director Hedy Jose B. Lardizabal together with Chief, Human Resource Specialist, Ms. Liwayway R. Navalta, and Director III Cornelia M. Rillera, as the lecturers/service providers.
The training commenced with a profound emphasis on enhancing personal effectiveness.
