As part of the Civil Service Month celebration, the Community Environment and Natural Resources Office – Central Pangasinan held its first ever “Dayëw ken Takneng” Awards on September 15, 2023 at Manleluag Spring Protected Lanscape, Barangay Malabobo, Mangatarem Pangasinan.

After the strenuous selection and deliberation process, CENRO Central Pangasinan selected and acknowledged the offices and/or personnel who showcased exemplary performance as public servants. The following were the awardees during the event: Regulation and Permitting Section (Most Outstanding Section); Marife D. Capasin (Most Outstanding Employee of RPS); Jorgette Sueno (Most Outstanding Employee of CDS); Wilson Pinkihan (Most Outstanding Employee of EMS); Dyesebel Amok (Most Outstanding Employee of Administrative Section); Ronnel M. Parayno (Best Public Assistance Desk Officer); Gregorio Almogela, Jr. (Best Deputized Public Land Inspector); Julius Balinguay (Best Forest Ranger); Christopher Belingan (Best Forest Protection Officer); Felix Sigue (Best Section Chief); Engr. Elizabeth Baccay (Best Unit Chief); Wilson Pinkihan, Robert Ferrer and Remegio Pascua (Best Team LAWIN Patroller); Janine Dizon (Most Patent Processed/Issued); Ronnie Hizon (Best NGP Site Coordinator); Jorgette Sueno (Most Punctual/No Absences (Technical)); Mary Ann Pago (Most Punctual/No Absences (Contractual)); Barbara Razon (Best Contractual Employee of EMS); Clarence Anacioco (Best Contractual Employee of CDS); Dennis Garcia (Best Contractual Employee of RPS); Romeo Candelario, Jr. (Best Park Ranger); and Estella Alleta (Best Support Staff).

Also, CENRO Central Pangasinan identified and awarded their selected environmental partners who actively engaged and significantly contributed to the various programs and projects of the agency. The following were selected as the environmental partners: CS First Green Agri-Industrial Development, Inc. (IFMA Category); Chrismelberry Agrifarm Development Corporation (SIFMA Category); Kalangkuasan Timpuyog Agriculture Cooperative (KALTAC) (CBFMA Category); Aboitiz Power Corporation (Renewable Energy); PNP – Maritime (Law Enforcement); and Municipality of San Fabian (Best Local Government Unit).

The awarding was graced by DENR I Key Officials: OIC, Assistant Regional Director for Management Services Engr. Raymundo C. Gayo who represented Regional Executive Director Atty. Crizaldy M. Barcelo, Provincial Environment and Natural Resources Officer of Pangasinan For. Raymond Rivera, OIC, CENR Officer of Central Pangasinan Engr. Noriel G. Nisperos, and CENR Officer of Eastern Pangasinan For. Rico Biado.
