The Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) Region I, an agency which fully recognizes the crucial role of accurate data in managing our environment and natural resources, proudly joins the celebration of the 34th National Statistics Month (NSM) through an unveiling of NSM banner and opening of exhibit which showcases the statistical profile of the Office at the DENR I Building Lobby last October 2, 2023. Said activities were led by Assistant Regional Director for Management Services Engr. Raymundo C. Gayo, Mines and Geosciences Bureau I Regional Director Engr. Carlos A. Tayag, and Environmental Management Bureau I representative Engr. Remedios Jimenez.

This year’s theme, “Accelerating Progress: Promoting Data and Statistics for Healthy Philippines”, implies the importance of utilizing data and statistics as key tools for achieving and focusing on data-driven decision-making and strategic efforts to promote and maintaining a healthy society.
