Environmental Management Bureau – Region I Director Maria Dorica Naz-Hipe (center) and Environmental Monitoring and Enforcement Division Chief Engr. Antonio L. Estrada (2nd from left) conducted a field visit at the San Roque Dam and the San Roque Hydroelectric Power Plant in San Manuel, Pangasinan on June 19, 2019 to ensure that the operation of the said energy company complies with laws on clean air, clean water, solid waste management, and toxic and hazardous waste management.

Mr. Arzel C. Manalili, Community and Environment Manager, Ms. Tamcyn R C. Ubaldo – Environmental Management Supervisor and Ms. Zarah Ednalaguim – Environment Management Assistant gave a brief introduction and orientation on the plant operations as the team visited the different plant facilities.

The SRHPP is one of the Environmentally Critical Projects in Region 1 and has been operating since 2006.
