License, Patents and Deeds Division

The Division shall be headed by a Development Management Officer V and  shall be responsible in the processing, evaluation and, if appropriate, recommendation  for  the issuance of new and renewal of all kinds of lease contract or  permit and land patents;  all forestland and protected area resource utilization and wildlife resource use permits, agreements, contracts and water extraction permits.

 

Forest Utilization Section

  1. 1.Undertake the processing and evaluation of applications for all forestland and forest resources utilization  permits, licenses, agreements, contract and other related permits;
  2. Monitors investigations or hearings conducted by the field offices to resolve complaints and violations on the utilization of forest and forestland resource use as defined by forestry laws, policies, rules and regulations. 
  3. Provide advice, technical assistance and guidance to all stakeholders on the processing and evaluation of forestry agreements, licenses, leases and permits and other tenurial instruments.
  4. Evaluate existing policies and recommends policies to improve licensing and permitting activities. 
  5. Consolidate, update and maintain the Section’s records and database.
  6. 1.Performs other activities as maybe assigned by higher authorities.
 

Wildlife Resources Permitting Section

  1. Review, evaluate and recommend action on applications for wildlife resource permits, agreement, contracts, SAPA, CASUA and other permits and tenurial instruments related to Protected Area resource utilization.
  2. Monitors investigations or hearings conducted by the field offices to resolve complaints and violations of PA and wildlife resource use laws, policies, rules and regulations. 
  3. Provide advice, technical assistance and guidance to all stakeholders on the processing and evaluation of PA and wildlife resource use agreements and permits and other tenurial instruments.
  4. Evaluate existing policies and recommends policies to improve licensing and permitting activities.
  5. Consolidate, update and maintain the Section’s records and database.
  6. Performs other activities as maybe assigned by higher authorities
 

Wildlife Resources Permitting Section

  1. Process, evaluate and recommend issuance of all kinds of land patents and deeds, leases and other land resource tenurial instruments.
  2. Draft proclamations, Special Patents and Reservations and submit to higher authorities for further action.
  3. Monitors the conduct of investigations or hearings to resolve complaints and violations of land laws, policies, rules and regulations.
  4. Provide advice, technical assistance and guidance to organizations and individuals under authority of the Department on the processing and evaluation of DENR licenses, leases, permits, patents and deeds.
  5. Extend technical assistance and guidance to stakeholders relative to the information and dissemination of land laws, policies, rules and regulations.
  6. Performs other activities as maybe assigned by higher authorities.
 

Water Resources Utilization Section

  1. Undertake the processing of   new and renewal of applications for all water resource use permits, agreements, and contracts.
  2. Provide advice, technical assistance and guidance to all stakeholders relative to water resource use permits rules and regulations.
  3. Consolidate, update and maintain the section’s records and database.
  4. Performs other activities as maybe assigned by higher authorities.
